Kennel Snowflakes is located in the beautiful picturesque village of Hadathurai, Kothagiri, The Niligiris. We are located 23 Kms before Ooty which was the most preferred summer getaway for the  British here once and continues to be one of the most preferred tourist locations even today. 

The farm dates back to the 18th century and extends over 700 acres held among family members, one of the few places not much spoilt yet by mankind and commanding a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains, The forests, its Tea Gardens and our private waterfall which offers an occasional visiting bison or deer for the lucky visitors. This location caters to the fine up-bringing of our Dogs, to play and to exercise amongst the surrounding lush green meadows, its Tea Gardens and Open Spaces.

Snowflakes had been a dream for long of two childhood friends who had been showing Dogs from the age of 14, the vision started taking shape in 2006….Long many years after being flattered by the Goldens for its  Amazing Beauty, Friendliness, Intelligence, Adaptability and an Enormous Willingness to work.

In 2007, Motesh and I decided to Import Goldens from UK’s Best Lines for Show and Breeding ………….. and when we did that we knew we had a responsibility to stay true to the breed and respect the generations of people who had dedicated their lives in “Developing and Protecting” these wonderful Dogs
